This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in the Budget App.

1. Data Collection

Budget App is designed as an offline-first application. Most of your data, including expenses, categories, and fixed expenses, is stored locally on your device using Hive database. We do not collect or store this data on our servers unless you choose to use our cloud synchronization features.

2. Firebase Authentication & Cloud Sync

If you choose to sign in (via Google, Apple, or Email), we use Firebase Authentication to manage your account. When signed in, your budget data is synchronized with Firebase Firestore to allow you to access your data across multiple devices. This data is associated with your unique User ID and is not shared with any third parties.

3. Guest Mode

If you use the app without signing in, all your data remains exclusively on your device. We have no way of accessing, viewing, or recovering this data if you lose your device or delete the app.

You can delete your local data at any time by clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app. If you are a signed-in user, you can request account deletion through the app settings or by contacting us.
